    2. Select the payment methods you want to accept, such as Shopify Payments, PayPal, or third-party gateways.

  • Set Up Taxes

‎Configure how taxes are calculated for your store based on your location and business needs. This ensures that the correct taxes are applied to customer orders, keeping you compliant with tax regulations.

    Automatic Tax Calculation:

    1. Purchase a custom domain directly through Shopify or from a third-party provider like GoDaddy.
    2. Go to "Settings" > "Domains" in your Shopify admin. Select "Connect existing domain" if you already own one, or choose "Buy new domain" to purchase a new one through Shopify. Follow the prompts to complete the connection.

    Check Your Store's Appearance:

    1. Ensure your store looks great on both desktop and mobile devices.
    2. Test all links to make sure they work correctly.

    1. Initially, your store is password-protected.
    2. When you’re ready to launch, go to "Online Store" > "Preferences" and remove the password to make your store publicly accessible.
  • Email Marketing

Set up your email campaigns using tools like Shopify Email or a third-party service like Klaviyo. Here’s how to make the most of your emails:

    Segment Your Audience

Personalize Your Emails: Break down your email list into different groups based on what your customers are interested in and how they behave. This way, you can send them content that really resonates, leading to better engagement and more sales.

    Automated Email Campaigns

Work Smarter, Not Harder: Automate your emails with campaigns like a welcome series for new subscribers or abandoned cart reminders. These can help you nurture new leads and recover lost sales without any extra effort on your part.

    Content-Rich Newsletters

Keep Them Interested: Share valuable content like tips, guides, or exclusive offers. This not only provides value but also keeps your audience engaged and loyal to your brand.

    Clear and Compelling CTAs

Guide Your Customers: Make sure your emails have clear and compelling calls-to-action. Whether it’s making a purchase or checking out a new collection, your CTAs should guide your readers on what to do next.

    Optimise for Mobile

Think Mobile First: Many people will read your emails on their phones, so make sure your emails look great and are easy to interact with on smaller screens. A smooth mobile experience can make a big difference in how your audience engages with your content

  • Social Media

Integrate and promote your store with social media platforms like Instagram, Tiktok, Threads, X and Facebook to drive traffic.

    Know Your Audience

Get Personal: Understand who your customers are and what they care about. Tailor your social media content to speak directly to their interests, needs, and pain points. The more you resonate with them, the more likely they’ll engage with your brand.

    Consistency is Key

Stay Top of Mind: Post regularly and consistently across your social media platforms. This keeps your brand in front of your audience and builds familiarity. A consistent presence also helps you build trust and credibility.

    Engage, Don’t Just Broadcast

Start Conversations: Social media is a two-way street. Don’t just post; engage with your audience by responding to comments, asking questions, and joining in on trending topics. Building relationships through interaction can turn followers into loyal customers.

Use Visuals to Tell Your Story

Be Visually Engaging: High-quality images, videos, and graphics are essential. Use visuals that not only catch the eye but also tell a story about your brand. Show behind-the-scenes content, product tutorials, or customer testimonials to create a deeper connection.

    Leverage Social Proof

Showcase Real Experiences: Share user-generated content, customer reviews, and testimonials. When people see others enjoying your products, it builds trust and encourages them to check out your store. Social proof can be a powerful tool to boost credibility and sales.

  • SEO Optimisation

Use Shopify’s built-in SEO tools to optimize your product pages and blog posts for search engines.

    Choose the Right Keywords

Speak Your Customer’s Language: Think about what words or phrases your customers are using to find products like yours. Use tools like Google Keyword Planner or Ubersuggest to find the best keywords, and then sprinkle them naturally throughout your product descriptions, titles, and content.

    Optimize Your Product Pages

Make Every Detail Count: Ensure each product page is optimized with unique titles, descriptions, and meta tags. High-quality images with descriptive alt text can also help search engines understand what your products are, giving you a better chance of ranking higher.

    Improve Your Site Speed

Fast and Frictionless: A slow website can drive potential customers away and hurt your search rankings. Compress images and use a good hosting provider to speed things up. The faster your site, the better the user experience—and search engines love that.

    Create Valuable Content

Share What You Know: Regularly publishing blog posts, guides, or how-tos related to your products can drive traffic and boost your SEO. Focus on content that provides real value to your audience and answers their questions, which helps establish your site as an authority in your niche.

    Build Quality Backlinks

Earn Your Credibility: Backlinks from reputable sites act as a vote of confidence for your store. Focus on building relationships with influencers, bloggers, and other businesses in your industry to earn these links naturally. The more quality backlinks you have, the more search engines will trust your site.
